5th August 2016

Edition six of Cum On Feel The Newz. That's one third of the number of the beast...

Let's do this...

Nightwish will immortalise their 'Endless Forms Most Beautiful' tour on DVD. The symphonic Metal visionaries are set to release their new live milestone 'Vehicle Of Spirit' on November 4th, featuring two full concerts and plenty of bonus material.

Nightwish keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen told us: "The title 'Vehicle Of Spirit' came from a friend of Troy's, who after seeing our show a few years ago defined Nightwish as 'a vehicle of spirit that defies category'. That beautiful description has followed us ever since, and felt like a perfect match as the DVD title"

Two-piece teenage slacker-punx Serial Chiller have released their new single 'Life's Rough'. Speaking about the single Sam said: "I tried to put to paper the intertwining mind fuck that is internet culture... its about the egotistical borderline obsessive creation of another world through the use of social media - there is no individuality, only concepts of self. Its about those people who believe their tongue is a lost scroll of a beat poet - as it unravels you realise you're wasting your time."

And here it is...

Arch Enemy will play the biggest stage production of their career tomorrow night (Saturday 6th August) at Wacken Open Air at around midnight. They've announced a press conference at Wacken on Friday and have said the show is "going to be something very special". The press conference is at 5:00pm – 5:45pm CET in the press tent/VIP area of Wacken and it will be streamed live on the band's Facebook page. Here's a trailer for it with more information.

Following the critically acclaimed release of their debut album 'Baptized In the Rio Grande' in late 2015, Sons Of Texas have been added to the UK and European Soil tour in November 2016. The European dates take in Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Austria, France before a full UK tour. You can get your tickets in our Ticket Centre right here. The band are set to release a single from the album 'September' closer to the tour.

Two years after the release of their seminal 2014 album 'The Divination Of Antiquity', Winterfylleth return with their highly anticipated new release 'The Dark Hereafter' on Spinefarm/Candlelight Records. Thematically 'The Dark Hereafter' casts a light on how we are now seeing the negative, long term effects of bad policy making and global oligarchy playing out in our societies.

Featuring five brand new tracks, 'The Dark Hereafter' finds Winterfylleth at their most musically focused and lyrical best. The band once again used the amazing production talents of Chris Fielding at Skyhammer Studio and Tim Turan and Turan Audio to make the record a reality.

Speaking about the new record, guitarist Chris Naughton told us: "After two years away we are really pleased to share this new record with you all. We thought a lot about making it, what it has to say lyrically, what that means and how we progress along with that as a band approaching our 10th year of existence. In recent years it feels like we have been living in an uncertain and unsettling world, and on 'The Dark Hereafter' we wanted to bring the issues surrounding that uncertainty to life, within these new songs. They carry a lot of meaning and sentiment for us and we hope they will also have that meaning for you too. We look forward to seeing you all along the way in 2016/17."

De Staat will embark on a UK tour in October 2016. The tour supports their 2016 album 'O' which is available now. The band have recently supported Muse across Germany, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. The UK dates will be their first shows since a Barfly show in March that sold out two months in advance! Tickets for the October dates are available here.

New England Metallers Unearth will kick off a run of European shows this week, including festival appearances at Summer Breeze, Bloodstock and Brutal Assault. You can watch the tour trailer here:

The band told us: "With Nick Pierce recovering from back surgery and still unable to tour, we've called on our long time friend and true musician/performer Jordan Mancino to tackle drum duties for all of our upcoming dates through August. Jordan is a force behind the kit and we are grateful he's available to help us continue the #watchingtheworldtour in Europe while Nick continues his road back to touring."

Jordan said: "I am stoked to have this honour filling in for my brother, Nick, while he recovers and heals from his surgery. It's a daunting task to fill Nick's shoes and to play with the metal legacy that is Unearth. I will do my best to support all that is the mosh that Unearth will bring!"

Pierce had this to say about his temporary replacement: "My man Jordan Mancino of Wovenwar will be ripping the kit until I return later this year. Jordan is an incredibly tight drummer and hits hard as hell, I can't wait to see what he does for Unearth!"

Despite have also recently launched a video for their first single, 'As You Bleed'. It's from their album 'Synergi' which was released worldwide on July 22nd.

In Flames are set to release their brand new live DVD, entitled 'Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg' on September 23rd 2016. Catch an exclusive first live clip preview of 'Everything's Gone' in its entire length here:

Municipal Waste have been confirmed for the 2017 instalment of the infamous Persistance Tour which will bring the five piece to London venue The Forum on 29th January 2017 as part of an eleven date European run. The tour will kick off on January 18th in Berlin, Germany taking the band across six countries before wrapping up at the renowned north London venue. The Raven Age will release their debut studio album, 'Darkness Will Rise' in December. The band announced this live on stage in Luxembourg last night when they suppported Iron Maiden on The Book Of Souls' World Tour. They have released a video of the unveiling, which includes a live performance of 'Angel In Disgrace' and here it is.

Raven Age founder George Harris said: "Everything we have done in the last three years has built up to this announcement. We're incredibly proud and we've been overwhelmed by the reactions we've received on this tour and can't wait to deliver this album to our fans around the world."

The Color Morale release their new album 'Desolate Divine' on August 19th 2016 and have premiered their new song 'Walls' which you can see below. Lead singer Garret Rapp explains: "'Walls' is a song about keeping yourself in isolation to avoid vulnerability."

Epica are ready to release the second studio trailer for their upcoming album 'The Holographic Principle'. In this new clip, the band show their work and experimentation with many new instruments and how it affected the depth and diversity of their new sound. "Recording this album felt like being a kid in a candystore", states Keyboarder Coen Janssen. "Never before have we used more live-instruments. Recording them ourselves and hearing the music come alive like that is an indescribable feeling! I'm sure these efforts make this album our best yet!"

Pain, the unique Swedish Metal project led by multi-instrumentalist and renowned producer, Peter Tägtgren, will be playing shows in Wolverhampton and Bristol this October, alongside a show at renowned London venue, The Underworld. Tickets are on sale here for these dates:
