Rock Legend Bernie Marsden has received a BMI award (Broadcast Music, Inc) in recognition of four million radio plays in the US for the Whitesnake classic 'Here I Go Again'. Bernie received his award by post after he missed the official ceremony, held at London's Dorchester Hotel, owing to the fact that he was "in the middle of the desert in the UAE" but said it was "a proud moment".

Bernie has seen a revival of his career in recent years with his most recent album, 'Shine' being released in 2014. He is currently touring the UK with FM and is also slated to appear at Hard Rock Hell Festival, Pwhelhi on Saturday 12th November.

In Flames have released their video for 'Save Me', which is taken from their highly anticipated new album, 'Battles', which is only one week away from release now. In th sedonc video here, the band discuss the differences between this new release and their previous albums.

Ukrainian pagan black Metal band Paganland are to release their third full-length album, 'From Carpathian Land', on November 4th via Svarga Music. In anticipation of it, Noizr Zine presents the full stream of the forthcoming LP. The seven track 'From Carpathian Land' features the new version of 'Black Mountain', the iconic song from Paganland's debut album 'Wind Of Freedom'.

Paganland's third album is an exciting experience for fans of mid 90s Pagan Metal with its heroic melodies and raw energy. See for yourself.

Aylmer, QC's heavy hitting northern riffing groove demons Inire have launched the second single, 'Crash', from their upcoming album 'Cauchemar' which is due out on November 18th. Since debuting their blend of northern groove and stoner Metal with a tinge of hardcore energy on their 2007 self-titled EP to 2009s full length, 'Born The Wicked, The Fallen, The Damned', the band have gone on to perform on one of Canada's biggest outdoor festivals, Amnesia Rockfest, headline Fete Nationale in Gatineau, QC plus tour across Canada along with sharing the stage with known bands such as Cancer Bats and Kill Devil Hill.

Set to release their new EP, 'Ritualis Aeterna', on December 2nd, Canadian horror inspired symphonic power Metallers Malacoda have unleashed their new music video for their first single 'Penny Dreadful'. The track/music video was inspired by the since canceled Showtime TV show of the same name.

The band told us: "The 'Penny Dreadful' video is something the band has wanted to do for a long time. Being involved with everything from the script, storyboard and even the production of the story scenes was great and let us guide where we wanted the video to go. Our upcoming ep release is a healthy dosage of things to come, we are just merely dipping our toes into a murky pool filled with horror and grandiosity and we hope our listeners take the plunge with us as we dive deeper into these darker areas."

Andy Rock has presented the first single lyric video, 'Don't Say Goodbye', from the upcoming album 'Andy Rock - This Time' which will be released on 16th December worldwide and 9th December in Japan. Here it is.

Hot on the heels of their successful debut gig at Glasgow's Hard Rock Cafe, Neon Hurricane are keeping the momentum going by announcing a second gig at Glasgow, The Box in Sauchiehall Street on Friday 11th November. The band exclusively told MetalTalk that they are already looking to plan more gigs and that they're currently hard at work rehearsing their set for The Box after a favourable response to their Hard Rock Cafe gig, and hope to record an EP in the not too distant future.

The latest album of Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, 'Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus', was chosen to be the first studio album in music history to be remixed in Dolby Atmos. Renowned producer/mixing engineer Chris Heil (David Bowie, Bryan Adams, Scorpions) mixed the entire masterpiece in Dolby Atmos and the result will be submitted for the 2017 Grammy nominations.

This unique package will be completed by two brand-new live CDs, which were produced by Luca Turilli and Alex Landenburg, mixed by Christian 'Moschus' Moos at Spacelab Studio (Grefrath, Germany) and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (San Marino). 'Prometheus, The Dolby Atmos Experience + Cinematic And Live' will be released on December 9th via Nuclear Blast. The first live track has been revealed so check out 'Rosenkreuz (The Rose And The Cross)' here:

Calgary four-piece Krepitus are challenging the relationship between death and thrash Metal with their trademark downtrodden technical riffs and fierce aggressive vocals. They have been constantly playing with opposing elements and creating a stable compound of death-fused thrash since their beginnings in 2013.

Set to unleash their debut album, 'The Eyes of The Soulless', on November 25th, the band have released their third single, 'Desolate Isolation', and here it is:

Test Your Metal Records have announced the signing of Japanese Heavy Metallers Solitude for the North American release of 'Reach For The Sky' on November 25th. The release is the band's third album that was issued in Japan in 2015 by Spiritual Beast and follows 2009s 'Brave The Storm' plus 2001s 'Virtual Image'. The release features eight fist pounding tracks mixed by Magnus 'Mankan' Sedenberg, who has previously worked with Bullet and Crucified Barbara along with artwork by Velio Josto (Warlord, Medieval Steel, Ostrogoth etc). Fans of Motörhead, Saxon, Tank and Venom are sure to appreciate.

Test Your Metal founder Grant Elliot told us: "We are very honoured to be working with Japan's very own Solitude. Bringing back the old school riffs of the 80s with some of the most bad ass vocals in Metal. We are hoping to bring the band over to North America in the new year with a nice Heavy Metal welcome from the Metal family here.

Here's 'You Got My Mind'.

Teenage post-hardcore outfit Hypophora release their double A-sided single, 'Youth/Caught' on Friday 11th November through Easy Action Records. The single perfectly captures the essence of the quartet's sound: hard hitting riffs accompanied by grooving slap bass, anthemic catchy and introspective vocal lines, and beautifully melodic guitar parts. Here's the video for 'Youth'.

Las Vegas rard rockers Adelitas Way has released a powerful new single and lyric video for'Ready For War (Pray For Peace)' ahead of upcoming tour dates with Scott Stapp. The single is off to a fast start at Active Rock Radio, with the song already in medium rotation at SiriusXM Octane, an early add st Music Choice Rock channel and a #1 Debut on Slacker Radio's 'New Rock Now' channel. The song moves to #45 this week on the Mediabase Rock Chart.

The band's Rick DeJesus told us: "'Ready For War (Pray for Peace)' is the state of mind that our soldiers, our officers, and even as a father who must protect a household that their family is in. I want love and peace in this world, but we must be prepared to protect what is ours from the evil that doesn't want a world of love and peace. That's what we're trying to convey with this song and video."

Touchstone make a highly-anticipated return this month, unveiling a brand new line-up and a four track EP, 'Lights From The Sky', due for release on November 28th. The EP will be the first studio offering from the band, featuring new lead vocalist Aggie and keys player Liam Holmes, along with Adam Hodgson (guitars), Henry Rogers (drums) and Paul 'Moo' Moorghen (bass and backing vocals).

In celebration of the EP release, the newly rejuvenated line-up are also excited to be making their live debut this December for a run of dates in the UK. The band will showcase their new material ahead of the release of a full studio album in Spring 2017.

US based alt-Metallers Dope are hitting London for their first ever UK headline performance in support of their new album, 'Blood Money', this Monday. The band will make a UK exclusive appearance at the O2 Academy Islington on Monday 7th November as part of their 'Die Mother F**ker Die' reunion tour, featuring the classic line-up of Edsel Dope, Acey Slade, Virus and Racci Shay.

This will be the first time that this classic line-up have shared the stage together in more than twelve years, and is the very first time that this line-up has ever played the UK. Dope were last seen in the UK with Coal Chamber in the Summer of 2015.

Houston progressive Metal powerhouse Oceans Of Slumber bring you a live studio performance video for the track 'This Road'. The song is taken from their current album 'Winter' which is out now on Century Media Records. The band comments: "So many thoughts. So many words. So much left unsaid. 'This Road' is the closing song on our record and is the completion of a cycle that seems perpetual. Habits and inconsistencies, and our attempt to wrestle with them and make sense of each other as individuals.

"On stage is where we do our best work and this live session is a window into capturing that momentum – a place to shed our skin, open up, and evolve. We've always got more in us and we plan to do more of these sessions in the future. Hope you like it."

Formicarius have been selected by Sony/Music For Nations to feature on their impending release 'Speed Kills VII'. The 'Speed Kills' compilation albums were infamous throughout the 80s and 90s for bringing some of the world's greatest extreme Metal bands to the attention of fans around the world. Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Venom, Bathory, Megadeth, Celtic Frost, Sodom... they were all featured on the legendary collections. Now, the recently resurrected Music For Nations label have decided to herald their return with a new chapter in the Speed Kills saga.

'Speed Kills VII' will feature exclusively British bands, highlighting the finest acts that the underground has to offer. Featured alongside the furious demons of Formicarius will be Voices, Akercocke, The King Is Blind, Nine Covens, Divine Chaos and – forming a link to the past – Acid Reign, who first appeared on 'Speed Kills IV'.

Discussing their inclusion on the bill, Formicarius' frontman, Lord Saunders, commented: "We're overwhelmed to be a part of the 'Speed Kills' legacy! Looking at the calibre of bands featured in the series... and now to be a part of such a collection... it's a tremendous honour for us!"

Vanishing Life have streamed a rocking new track, 'Thinking Is Weightless', from their forthcoming debut full length album, 'Surveillance', released on November 25th via Dine Alone Records in the UK.

Singer Walter Schreifels told us: "John Lennon said, 'thinking is weightless', or maybe I wrote it, I don't remember, but I wrote his name down next to it in my notes. I like this phrase because can be read it two very divergent ways, one, a zen 'be here now' type mantra, or it could also be an urgent alarm like 'soylent green is people!'
