Having toured with Metallica, Whitesnake, Alice Cooper, The Scorpions and many other artists since their inception in the early 80s, Armored Saint have always been a highly regarded live act, not only in their hometown of Los Angeles, but also around the world. The only official release to capture this, however, is 1989s live album, 'Saints Will Conquer' - until now, with 'Carpe Noctum', which was recorded at the band's 2015 Wacken festival set, as well as their headlining show in Aschaffenburg, Germany. The song, described by singer Andy Heintz as an "atheist ghost story" is inspired by the band's lifelong love of horror. The video was directed by Hannibal writer Tom Deville, and stars Hollyoaks' Neil Newbon, alongside Samantha Englebrecht as urban explorers who disturb a dark presence (played by Lisa Diveney) in an abandoned house. Director of Photography was Luke Bryant who has worked on Black Mirror and Drifters.

The footage for this video was shot at Epic Metal Fest Holland by Panda Productions.
Mark Jansen explains why they chose this song: "One of our heaviest songs on the new album: 'Ascension'! A song that works very well live on stage. Therefore we have picked this song to be our next project. I hope you'll enjoy this one! We have just kicked off our North American tour and we will play quite some songs of our new well received album 'The Holographic Principle' on this tour as well!"
Children Of Bodom have released a special lyric video for the song 'My Bodom (I Am The Only One)', taken from the band's latest studio album, 'I Worship Chaos'. On October 20th, fans were encouraged via social media to submit photos of themselves with the band for a chance to be in an upcoming video. Over 300 photos were selected to be featured in the 'My Bodom (I Am The Only One)' lyric video.
Alexi Laiho comments: "This is the coolest and my favourite lyric video by far because we actually had a chance to include COB fans from all over the globe in it. It’s the least we can do to show our gratitude, love and appreciation of the madness they bless us with night after night. I can’t wait to play the song live on the upcoming tours!"
Finland’s apocalyptic post punks Grave Pleasures (spawned from the internationally acclaimed, Beastmilk) release a new 7" EP, 'Funeral Party' this Friday 18th November, via frontman Mat McNerney's own Secret Trees record label. The 7" was self produced and recorded in Finland, but mastered by John Davis (Savages, Bat For Lashes, Lana Del Rey) in the UK.
Mat McNerney tells us: "We're surfing the apocalypse again and this time with the reverb button back on. Back to the new old sound and back to a Finnish line-up. Now we've returned to the bunkers and are handling some radioactive new material for the next album. The new stuff is a nuclear fusion of our Beastmilk past with Climax and the beast parts of Grave Pleasures' 'Dreamcrash' album. This new 7" is a small detonation of that new material and released in an exclusive way, to reward our fans for sticking with us."

A few months after the release of their soon-to-be-acclaimed second full-length album 'The Violent Mystical Sukuma', French 70s heavy-psych rockers Domadora just unveiled a new trippy live studio video of the opening track from this effort, called 'Hypnosis' and recorded at Louvre Auditorium in Paris.
One-man horror themed project Temple Of Demigod was formed in Yerevan, Armenia to play symphonic black/death Metal. In late 2014, Mark Erskine, a guitarist/songwriter of Ghoulchapel, decided to create his own project; after coming up with a name and style, highly influenced by bands such as Behemoth, Emperor, Dark Funeral, The Wicked, Crionics and Vesania, maybe not lyrically, but definitely musically.
Moving from standard anti-religious, Satanic themes to more conceptual, mystical and horror inspired lyrics, Mark has found his inspiration in Lovecraftian stories, and the next desire was to write and record new stuff for the first full-length album, and make it conceptual from the beginning to an end. 'The Great Old Ones' is an absolute journey into the realm of supernatural horrifying beings crafted by Lovecraft.
Dayshell released their Spinefarm debut, 'Nexus', in October and the band have now revealed the video for 'Low Light'. "This song is not the norm for Dayshell," said frontman Shayley Bourget. "'Low Light' takes a different approach with the meaning. Basically, it's a fantasy between a guy and a girl. The guy always had a thing for this particular girl, but knew she was a wild cat. But when they both finally let their guards down, things get serious in the bedroom and basically... Well, just read the lyrics for yourself. As far as the music video concept goes? We just wanted a classic performance video. No cheesy story plot. Just us Dayshell boys rocking out in style."
Following three European tours in 2016 alone, Nashville-based psych-rock quartet All Them Witches will return with their new album, 'Sleeping Through The War', via New West Records on February 24th, 2017.
Lead single 'Bruce Lee' is a perfect distillation of their aesthetic - whirlwind guitars, way out vocals and propulsive rhythms that recall Springsteen's late-night power drives as much as they do Kyuss riding into the blood-red sunset. Speaking of the new video, director Jason Staebler says: "'Bruce Lee' is about anxiety taking hold of and following you indiscriminately. The video is meant to represent that idea, the consuming nature of your worries, and the magnification of them in your mind. The creature in pursuit is the personification of your anxiety, who can overcome and control your fate if you let it."
A Killer's Confession, the new project of former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis, have released a new lyric video for their debut single 'A Killer's Confession', featuring as guest Korn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch. Echoing the sounds of In Flames, Dark Tranquility and At The Gates, Montreal explosive melodic death Metal titans Decadawn are ready to 'Take You There' with their new music video. The song is from the band's 2014 debut album 'Solitary Confinement' featuring ten blistering assaults that includes guest vocals from Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates) on the release's title track. The album was produced by the band with mixing done at Fredman studios (Sweden) by Henrik Udd (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquility).
Brutai have now unleashed their second video single for 'Never Change' which clearly demonstrates their natural ability to shine - (with the help of some UV lights!).
Alex Lorimer (vocals/keys) says this about the song and the video: "We're really excited to bring you our latest single, 'Never Change'. This song is about the bad traits we possess in life, and the way they can consume you if you don't open up about them. It is about progressing towards a stage where we can open up to others in order to heal and turn a new page."
The Jokers release a brand new single, 'Silver City', with B/side 'Summer Time', taken from their highly-acclaimed third album, 'Hurricane' on Steamhammer/SPV. 'Silver City' was recorded at Liverpool's Parr Street Studios, where it was produced, engineered and mixed by Tom Size (Aerosmith, David Lee Roth, Journey, Steve Miller Band, Huey Lewis, Mr Big) at the Tomland Studios, San Francisco. The band are thrilled to premiere the song’s exiting new video, with the single being released on Friday, 18th November.
Guitarist and vocalist Paul Hurst explains: "'Silver City was actually a town in California in the 1800s which was a goldmine and people went there to find their fortune in the same way as in this song: 'going down down down to Silver City'. In today's terms, people go to Hollywood, Las Vegas etc. looking for their fortune. The video captures our journey rising from the bottom up to the top: a journey we're still on now. The girl in the video illustrates an actual journey to a destination, with will and determination in her soul."
'Silver City' is currently playlisted at Liverpool FC's home ground, Anfield, where the song gets played at half-time to crowds of 52,000.
