British rock'n'rollers The Temperance Movement have teamed up with streaming service Deezer for the release of the 'Live Bear' EP, recorded at the band's London show during their January 2016 European tour, featuring five tracks including a stunning rendition of David Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust' in honour of the late icon.

Phil Campbell told us: "January 2016 was an exciting time for The Temperance Movement. We released our second album and embarked on a nationwide UK tour with The Sheepdogs, playing to 2000 people a night in some of the best venues in the country. The tracks on this EP were recorded at The Forum in London on Wednesday 27th January, the final date of the tour. Although all the nights were recorded, this was by far the best.

The EP includes a further four tracks from the current, acclaimed album 'White Bear' and can be heard here.

Legendary rock band, Kansas, have launched a live concert video for the track 'Rhythm In The Spirit', taken from the bands latest album 'The Prelude Implicit' released last September.

The band told us: "It's been a long time since we've made a one song concert video and we had a great time doing it! 'Rhythm in the Spirit' was our unanimous first choice and we are very happy with how it turned out."

Kansas will make their long-awaited European return in 2017 with some specially selected summer festivals, including the UK's Ramblin' Man Fair.

London based punk rockers Nightlife have revealed a brand new lyric video for a track taken from the forthcoming release 'Salt & Acid'', due for release on the 24th February 2017, to give you a taster of what's to come.

"We are always pushing ourselves to create something that excites us, blending a myriad of genres and bands that we are influenced by, regardless of what others think or say." bassist and backing vocalist Lewis Harrison told us. "There's a lot going on which means there's never a dull moment on this record, we've got big heavy riffs segueing into stripped-back harmonised acapella and then into funky melodic singalong sections; it'll keep you on your toes that's for sure. It's like strapping your ears to a rollercoaster (in a good way)."

The band head out on a UK tour later this month to preview their new material in live format.

Sweden's doom darlings Avatarium have entered the Gröndahl studio and are currently working on a follow-up to their highly acclaimed second album 'The Girl With The Raven Mask'. This third brainchild will include eight new tracks and is scheduled to see the light of day in spring 2017.

"Avatarium is about pushing boundaries and exploring new grounds", guitar master Marcus Jidell told us. "Inside the four walls of our pantheon the ceiling needs to be high to let the creativity and imagination fly free. Our focus is not on technical aspects but on landscapes and colors. Diverse emotions such as anger, despair, grief, empathy and hope all find their place in our music.

"We are aiming to find the human touch, keep it simple and allow mistakes but also make it glorious, shining and bigger then our own selves. 2017 needs to be the year when we bring in a new way of thinking and create music without computers holding us back with mathematic formulas and degrading bands to mass products created on conveyor belts. Avatarium is taking the lead and inviting you to follow!"

Australian Metal destroyers Aversions Crown will unleash their sophomore album, 'Xenocide' on January 20th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Today the band has released their third video trailer for that record, in which they discuss the album cover artwork.

An intriguing concept from alternative Death Metal band Carnalation is uneiled with new single 'Dance of Disorder'. It is the first release from their upcoming full length album where every track tells a story about a different patient. This track is about patient called Jennifer who has Obsessive–compulsive personality disorder and her life and thoughts are repeating the same pattern everyday.

The band is planning to release another single this year and will later announce the release date of the full length album. The music is driven by the story, and the band strives to connect certain feelings to a patient in question.

US heavy rockers Soldiers Of Solace have signed a record deal with German based label Rock'N'Growl Records, a division of Rock'N'Growl Promotion. The band is currently in the studio recording their debut album, for an album release due later in 2017.

The band recently released a sneak preview track 'Cold as a Stone', from their up-and-coming album, which can be seen here:

Soldiers Of Solace is an all original, hard hitting, American heavy rock band, comprised of five members: Jason Longo on vocals, Ron Therrien on bass guitar, Luis Cubille on rhythm guitar, Jeff Fahy on lead guitar and all the way from Italy, Francesco Daniele on drums.

Aiming to provide "the perfect remedy for the Lemmy-less, Motörhead missing blues", UK power trio Segrëgates have unleashed their debut album, 'Burston', released on January 27th.

Segrëgates have previously earned themselves a slot opening for longtime Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell. Have a listen to the first single 'Turn It Loose' here:

Formed in Hertfordshire in 2013, Defences draw on electronic and stadium rock influences to offer a brand of alternative Metal distinct from other modern rock acts. The band heavily emphasise positivity, acceptance and self-improvement in their sound.

This musical adaptability has allowed the band to join a diverse roster of bands onstage, fitting in as well with hardcore powerhouses For the Fallen Dreams as with melodic heavyweights Our Last Night and Sleepwave. Watch out for the new single 'Two Steps Back', following hot on the heels of recent track 'Grow'.

On February 17 2017, Eagle Rock Entertainment release 'The Reflektor Tapes' and 'Live At Earls Court' by Arcade Fire on digital video and also available as a 2DVD and 2Blu-ray set on January 27th. Both releases make for compelling viewing and truly shine fresh light on a landmark album.

'The Reflektor Tapes' is a visually stunning and hypnotic documentary about the making of Arcade Fire's hugely successful 2013 studio album 'Reflektor' by director Kahlil Joseph. The film received its premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival, and captures recording sessions, live performances and the band's time in Haiti, a country with which they have a long-standing relationship.

'Live At Earls Court' features a stunning full live show which includes: Reflektor, No Cars Go, Rebellion (Lies), Neighborhood # 3 (Power Out), The Suburbs, Wake Up, Afterlife, Ready To Start and many more. Filmed in London on 6th June 2014, this full length live show perfectly complements the documentary release.

Deserted Fear have launched a video for the new song 'Open Their Gates' taken from their upcoming album 'Dead Shores Rising'.

The band told us "While you guys are freezing your asses off, we are reminiscing about our last summer. With our latest video, we would love you to take part in our trip to nature – maybe this will distract you from those low temperatures. It got pretty hot and sometimes things happen to be different than you thought, but see for yourselves. One thing is for sure, summer will come! With these words in mind, enjoy 'Open Their Gates'!"

Old school Death Metallers, Memoriam, are set to unleash their debut album, 'For The Fallen', on March 24th, 2017 through Nuclear Blast Records. It will contain 8 tracks, incl. 'War Rages On', 'Resistance' and 'Surrounded (By Death)'. To give a first taster of what to expect from this highly-anticipated record, the first single from For The Fallen, 'Reduced To Zero', has been launched today.

Vocalist Karl Willetts told us: "'Reduced To Zero' is a comment on the times that we live in. In a world that is dominated by fear, hatred and intolerance, the song is a direct result of Brexit and Trump and the general rise of right wing nationalistic xenophobia."

Coming out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, All Else Fails is making a mark around the world for their aggressively dark brand of Metal that is breaking the traditional ideals of their genre.

The band's award winning 2013 EP 'Fucktropolis' received world wide praise from industry publications around the world for its heavy dark beauty. Gearing up for their follow up 'The Forever Lie' due out February 17, 2017, the band is proud to exclusively premiere their first single and new video 'The Sons of Plenty' via GearGods.

"I've been waiting my entire musical career to light my guitar on fire and smash a drumset to pieces with it. This video is fucking awesome," vocalist/guitarist Barrett Klesko told us.

Black Mirrors are a new Garage Rock / Blues Rock gem who are Belgium's answer to pretty much every rock band out there and have just signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records.

The band told us: "We are super proud to announce that we signed a record deal with the high-acclaimed label Napalm Records. We are grateful and proud that we can work together with such a big record label and that we'll be on the same roster like bands as John Garcia, Alter Bridge, Monster Magnet, Brant Bjork among so many others. We are looking forward to working together with the whole Napalm family and to bring our music to every corner of the world and to rock with all of you. See you on the road soon and stay tuned as we will have some other great news coming for you!"

The debut EP entitled 'Funky Queen' will be released worldwide on March 3rd 2017.
