Ayreon unveil a lyric video for the stunning track 'Everybody Dies', taken from the new album 'The Source' which lands on April 28th.

Mastermind Arjen Lucassen told us "Brace yourself for Armageddon... here is Everybody Dies, the first lyric video for the new Ayreon album! On vocals: Michael Mills, Tommy Karevik, Tommy Rogers, Russell Allen, Hansi Kürsch, Michael Eriksen, Tobias Sammet and Floor Jansen. Awesome video made by Wayne Joyner!"

The story of The Source is set six billion years in the past relative to Earth. It begins on Planet Alpha, a world in the Andromeda system where computer intelligence has far surpassed that of humanity. Alpha is facing a massive global crisis, with ecological and political catastrophes threatening all human life. The Alphans (our human ancestors) try to save their planet by entrusting the global computer mainframe—The 'Frame—to find a solution. It's the beginning of a story that contains everything that has made the Ayreon epics so endlessly fascinating all these years.

One of the most striking hard rock bands of the 1970s was undoubtedly Angel - who sported costumes and a highly theatrical stage show only rivaled by KISS (their then-label mates on Casablanca Records). Despite splitting in 1981, the group's popularity and influence remain high - resulting in the return last year of their larger-then-life guitarist, Punky Meadows, with his first-ever solo release, 'Fallen Angel,' and a striking video clip for the rocking track, 'Straight Shooter'.

"I'm very proud of this song and album," Punky told us. "Every song kicks ass and is a winner. Danny Farrow and I have a great song writing chemistry so it's hard to to pick a favorite song because they're all good. 'Straight Shooter' was our first single and video. This band is killer with all talented players and a killer singer."

And in March and April, Punky will be performing in the US. From March 8th-10th, dates have been announced for Las Vegas, San Diego, and Los Angeles, followed by Poughkeepsie on April 21st and NYC on April 29th. Joining the guitarist on stage will be a band comprised of Chandler Mogel - lead vocals, Danny Farrow - rhythm guitar, vocals, Charlie Calv - keyboards, and Bob Pantella - drums, while it will be decided closer to the dates if bass will be supplied by Felix Robinson (due to recent surgery).

'The Reprobate', the second album by Sweden's death Metal commando Firespawn, is set for release on April 28th 2017.

Today you can check out the track 'Blood Eagle', a less-than-3-minutes blasting assault, that lays down the band's line of approach unequivocally: Remorseless, impetuous, combining the sombre maliciousness of ancient Swedish death Metal with technical finesse and untameable ferocity.

'The Reprobate' will be released as Digipak CD, deluxe LP (with Gatefold sleeve, 180 g vinyl, poster, inlay and the entire album on CD) and as digital download/stream.

Critically acclaimed rock band Royal Thunder have debuted 'April Showers', the much-anticipated first song from their new album 'Wick', out April 7 via new label Spinefarm Records and available for pre-order now.

Mlny Parsonz comments "A lot has happened in life between 'Crooked Doors' and 'Wick'. This song was a life raft and an outlet while we were on the road. It was a song that we lived in and looked forward to playing, live. Personally, it gave me the freedom to release my emotions and process my thoughts while I was on the road. We hope you enjoy this song. And we appreciate your support, sincerely. We present to you...April Showers."

'Wick' finds Royal Thunder at their creative summit. It's a deeply personal, introspective effort, bolstered by monolithic riffing and the sort of lyrics and vocals that sear themselves into your brain... permanently.

Papa Roach release their first single 'Help' from their 9th album which is available across all digital retailers and streaming platforms, via Eleven Seven Music now. The new album is expected for release in May.

'Help' was produced by Nicholas "Ras" Furlong and Colin Brittian, who grew up listening to Papa Roach and inspired the band to revisit some of their early influences. "We really followed our instincts and tried something unproven," explains Furlong. "We ended up morphing the band's best 'old school' traits into a courageous and more adventurous version of Papa Roach in the 21st Century."

Lyrically the new offering, touches on the personal, yet relatable, theme that surrounds the universal struggle of surviving mental health issues.

Atlanta rockers Biters have released a new song, 'Stone Cold Love' from their upcoming studio album, 'The Future Ain't What It Used To Be'.

'The Future...' is set to hit stores on 19th May via Earache Records. The album, produced by Dan Dixon, is the follow-up to 2015's critically acclaimed 'Electric Blood' and lands in the wake of a UK/European tour this Spring.

Biters are blazing a trail across the globe with their electrifying live shows. In March, they undertake a 24-date European tour with label mates Blackberry Smoke which will see them playing to over 50,000 music fans, including a date at London's iconic Roundhouse.

Dan Reed Network embark on their 'Fight Another Day' UK tour on Wednesday 1st March at the Level 3 Club in Swindon. Special guests on all dates (except Sheffield) is Vega.

DRN is thrilled to be returning to the UK in March, Redd told us. "We are really looking forward to playing many new and unique venues throughout the UK, and rockin' up the funk hard core and meeting all those who are able to attend and bring down the house with us. We thank you for the many years of support and especially believing that we had new music in us to offer! We are forever grateful for you all being there with us on this journey!"

Dan Reed Network's latest studio album 'Fight Another Day' marks a significant and highly anticipated return from of one of the most talented bands to come out in the melodic rock world in the second part of the 1980s.

Azarath(featuring drummer Inferno of Behemoth fame) reveal the lyric video for new song 'At The Gates Of Understanding'.

The song is from the Polish death/black Metal tyrants' highly anticipated album 'In Extremis', set to be released on April 7th via Agonia Records and is the first single to be released from the album. It arrives six long years after the band's last installment, 'Blasphemers' Maledictions', from 2011. The lyric video was created by Tomasz Strzałkowski.

Touted as a "demonic mutation of Krisiun and Behemoth with shades of Immolation", Azarath stand up to their wicked name. The band's death Metal is crisp, black, and while it possesses the charm of their American counterparts, it remains open-minded and organic.

Finnish hard rock group Serpico have released a new single and music video for their track 'Ain't Better To Leave'.

The music video reminisces the bygone era when music videos were viewed from VHS tapes recorded on by older relatives that had cable TV, and when heavy rock grew in popularity amongst the youth culture yet was disapproved of by older generations.

The video was inspired by the band's previous visit to the UK. Serprico wasn't that organized with their tour planning and found themselves in a strange city without a place to sleep. After several twists and turns they found themselves in the company of local suburban-princesses.

They had to sway intimately to Bon Jovi songs in exchange for accommodation, beer and cigarettes. Of course in the video you cant see any swaying to Bon Jovi songs and it doesn't make any reference to that previous story. But it was a trip to be remembered...

Death Koolaid are set to release their follow up to last year's 'Kids' with their new single 'Emmeline' from their second album 'Death Koolaid Vol. 2'.

Death Koolaid were dug up from the dark depths of society. Each member was found through their bloodthirsty passion to make hard hitting music. The four-piece, female-fronted hardcore punk-rock band, based in London, UK, began their quest to inject noise into the hearts of the masses in 2013.

In March 2014 they released their first EP 'Death Koolaid Vol. 1'. The band began to gig around London immediately - the months that followed were filled with blood, sweat and beers. With more shows under their belts and an ever-growing fan base, the band's monster creation of musical torture was spreading; they stun audiences with their aggressive, action-packed live shows that make ears bleed and eyes spin.

Danko Jones have released their new video for 'My Little RnR' . Danko told us "This is a fun stop-motion horror-themed music video from the POV of a blood-sucking vampire. Who doesn't love blood and guts and RNR?"

The new album 'Wild Cat' is due for release on March 3rd worldwide through eOne in Canada and AFM Records /Bad Taste Records in the rest of the world.

Danko Jones have never felt more vibrant or hungry than they are on 'Wild Cat'. The 11-track album is a raw representation of the band's collective musical history and influences, and without a doubt their most solid album yet.

Boston MA's Intoxicated Rage are one of the leading lights of the New England Heavy Metal scene. Influenced by Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Motorhead, and Black Sabbath, vocalist and guitarist Giuseppe Mellone announces in a statement of intent these heavy hitters are "here to kick your ass."

Unleashing their 2016 EP 'Patient Zero Boston', Intoxicated Rage has 2017 lock and loaded with the upcoming release of their first full length 'Kill The King' featuring roots in traditional Heavy Metal and thrash.

Mellone told us: "We just wanted something that could get the message across of who we are. We are doing that in this album and we will do it again on the next. Currently, we are working on different material that almost breaks through these classifications. We want people to hear us on the radio and automatically identify us from our sound."

Sólstafir are now revealing details of their forthcoming sixth album. The new masterpiece of the enigmatic Icelandic rockers is entitled 'Berdreyminn', which means a "dreamer of forthcoming events" and will be out in stores on May 26th.

The band has furthermore released the cover art by Adam Burke and track-list of 'Berdreyminn':

From within the deep heart of southern Melbourne Australia arises solo artist Billie-Jade (Ex Diamond Noir, Hatchet Dawn) who has previously toured in different projects with Marilyn Manson and the legendary Misfits. Billie-Jade is set to unleash to the world a heavy hitting debut solo single 'Horror Haus' she has written, recorded and self-produced, and is mixed and mastered by Logan Mader (Once Human, Machine Head, Soulfly).

'Horror Haus' unleashes a quirky power house likened to a female counterpart of Marilyn Manson with a distinctive, modern, heavy twist. The track is available from digital music stores. Billie-Jade showcases the song writing and vocal confidence of a world class artistic and enigmatic presence, while independently managing the launch of her solo endeavour.

She told us "I have had this vision my whole life and it is what I was born to do. I have written so much for my solo project and it has come so naturally and I can't wait to share it with the world."

Sweden's sludge/doom Metallers with post-rock tendencies & an electronic touch, The Moth Gatherer, are streaming a brand new song, 'This Providence Of Bones'.

The track comes from the band's forthcoming EP 'The Comfortable Low', due out on March 31st via Agonia Records, and includes a guest appearance from Dennis Lyxzén (Refused/INVSN).

The band told us: "After 'The Earth Is The Sky' (2015) we felt like we needed to push our limits while not forgetting our roots. Our roots in hardcore and our current interest in electronica made their mark on these two songs, a constant travel through harsh and beautiful soundscapes. The music and lyrics are supposed to feel like painful beauty and to provoke reflection. The themes revolve around an inner search, a way to rise while being pushed down by depression".

Dutch symphonic Metallers Epica kicked off 2017 with their most successful European tour to date. Together with Powerwolf and Beyond The Black, Epica brought their brand new 'The Holographic Principle' to thousands of fans every night and ended the tour with their biggest show so far - the sold-out show at the Zenith in Paris where the band headlined in front of nearly 5.000 fans.

Coen Janssen commented the following on this successful tour: "We had the most amazing time on our "European Principle" run. Together with our new friends from Powerwolf and Beyond The Black we played the biggest venues -in front of the craziest crowds- ever!! You gave all the energy you got every night and that radiated onto the band for sure! Fortunately we shot some very cool images of a few of those nights, crafted into another awesome after-movie for you and us to relive this EPIC tour!"

On this tour, the band was joined by the video production team Panda Productions who made a tour after-movie over multiple shows. You can now check out this stunning video on the band's YouTube page and right here:

a name="#epica">With the release of their debut album 'Eternity, In Your Arms' a little over a month away, Creeper have unveiled their latest video, for the single 'Black Rain'.

'Eternity, In Your Arms' hits stores on March 24. The album, which also features the singles 'Hiding With Boys' and 'Suzanne', is now available to pre-order.

Creeper will be heading out on a headline tour of the UK and Europe in 2017, in addition to hitting the main stage at Download Festival. Tickets are on sale now.
