The Darkness are back with their fifth album 'Pinewood Smile', due for release October 6th through Cooking Vinyl. Written in Putney, recorded in Cornwall and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Muse), the compositions have all the crucial elements of classic Darkness fare, but with added layers for the ears to peel away at...like a sonic onion but a lot tastier.

Marking the announcement the band have today unveiled the spectacular album opener 'All The Pretty Girls', across all streaming platforms. It's also available for download with pre-orders of the album for the instant gratification of fans.

As Justin Hawkins so eloquently sings with trouser-splitting vocal magnificence; "All the pretty girls, like me for who I am / All the pretty girls, when the record goes platinum / Plenty of action, massive attraction, when you're selling out stadiums / All the pretty girls... and their mums". Hard-hitting social commentary, right there...

To celebrate the release of the album, The Darkness will be touring extensively at the end of this year playing 17 dates in the UK throughout November and December including a headline show at London's Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on December 10th as part of a wider European tour.

Klogr are ready to hit the road again. The group, in collaboration with K2 Music Management, have been confirmed as special guests for the upcoming The Rasmus European shows this autumn.

Klogr frontman Rusty told us: "We are so excited to be back on tour on November, especially with such a great band like The Rasmus. After 2 years spent in studio for the new album, we have really missed the stage and our fans. We can't wait to play the news songs, we hope you will enjoy them. See you on the road."

The highly awaited new album 'Keystone' is released 6th October, 2017 via Zeta Factory / PHD. Pre-orders are now available in two exclusive bundles with limited edition t-shirt, direct from the band's website.

'Rise & Shine' is the new album from Nashville trio Simo, which will be released on 15 September 2017 on Provogue/Mascot Label Group.

The album began taking shape on the road, where the three bandmates — singer, guitarist and namesake frontman JD Simo; drummer Adam Abrashoff; and bassist Elad Shapiro — spent most of 2016 on tour playing 215 shows in total including supporting Beth Hart, Blackberry Smoke and the late great Gregg Allman.

The new album promises to be the band's most adventurous to date, and will be backed up by more live dates, inlcuding at The Borderline, London on September 26th.

The creativity and productivity of the German Heavy Metal trio Rage seems to have no limits. Little over a year after the successful 'The Devil Strikes Again', Rage are set to deliver their new, 23rd studio album, 'Seasons Of The Black', which will be released on July 28th.

Today, they release their second track by track documentary, in which the trio talks about the songs 'Septic Bite', 'Walk Among The Dead' and 'All We Know Is Not'.

On September 1st, cult Metallers Paradise Lost abruptly end summer with the release of their 15th studio album 'Medusa'. And while winter is approaching, the band now present their second interview trailer, in which bassist Steve Edmondson speaks about the work with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano, the band's influences and how the music scene changed since the band's inception almost 3 decades ago.

The band will embark for an extensive European journey and bring their label mates and US doomsters Pallbearer, plus Sinistro from Portugal.

Before these dates, the Brits will play an exclusive release show on Friday, September 1st at the LKA Longhorn in Stuttgart. For one night only, Paradise Lost will perform their new album in its entirety as well as a very special setlist created by the fans.

Ukrainian post-djent band Beyond The Pleasure released their debut music video 'Never Let You In' last April, 2017. Following this success the band have worked hard on the new video for 'God Of War', directed by Igor Khramkov.

Beyond The Pleasure came to life in the beginning of 2016, drawing from the members' shared passion for extreme Metal, djent, Metalcore and other hateful stuff. Their debut EP, 'God of War', is full of mature and heavy material and is available mow.

Based out of Copenhagen, Denmark, Mother of All is a passionate one man band dreamt up by Martin Haumann (Myrkur, Mercenary, Heidra, Essence). The EP 'Secular Assault' has just been released digitally and is available at bandcamp where it can be downloaded for free.

Martin Haumann states: "The goal of this release is to encourage free minds to support secular ideals and to honour and recognise the persecuted freethinkers around the world. Therefore it's free."

'Secular Assault' is a strong musical statement, an ode to apostates and an unapologetic homage to secularity. Check out the track here and download the rest.

Fans that have seen Metal Church live at their recent shows in the United States, UK and Europe may have noticed a new face on stage. The guy behind the kit has been none other than ex-WASP Stet Howland, and now that transitionary process is complete, Metal Church are happy to announce the addition of Stet Howland as the band's permanent new drummer.

Vocalist Mike Howe commented: "I am overwhelmed and grateful that Stet has found his way into the fold and I look forward to many successful and joyful performances together", with guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof adding: "We are extremely happy to have Stet as our new engine. He is a fantastic drummer and a great guy to work with. But the hazing shall continue relentlessly!"

Stet Howland shares his excitement about joining Metal Church: "After being home for only a few days from possibly the best tour of my life, I received a conference call from Kurdt and Mike, for a split second I thought to myself 'Oh shit, what did I do?' But my concern quickly turned to an un-removable smile when they asked if I would be interested in being a permanent member of Metal Church."

Finland's Noituma have released their new lyric video for 'Revontulet', taken from their latest album 'Ruoto'.

Formed in 2014 in Kokkola, the sextet are influenced by a variety folk/pagan Metal bands such as Moonsorrow, Falkenbach and Ensiferum.

Scout Killers have been burrowing away for the past five years shaping and honing their hugely captivating sound. The band have toured relentlessly throughout the UK, playing alongside Fearless Vampire Killers, The Computers, F.O.E.S, and No Devotion.

The band's new EP 'Deception', charts the five-some's growth and songwriting dexterity. The alluring flow and melodic brilliance of new video single, 'Keep Telling Me Lies' just underlines their emerging supremacy.

With UK shows now announced for this August, Scout Killers are primed to rise this year.

Swedish Thrash Metallers The Haunted are set to unleash their new, 9th studio album entitled 'Strength In Numbers' on August 25th, 2017 worldwide via Century Media Records.

Today the band have launched second single and video track 'Spark'. Adrian Erlandsson checked in with the following comment:

"'Spark' is the second video from our upcoming album "Strength In Numbers". It's a brooding and catchy number which shows a more melodic side of the album. One of those songs that will remain in our live set for years to come. Turn it up and watch it all burn!!!"

Acclaimed UK rock band The Struts release 'One Night Only', the new single out on Polydor/Interscope Records. 'One Night Only' is the first piece of music to be revealed from the band's forthcoming album — the highly anticipated follow up to their 2016 debut 'Everybody Wants'.

Of the track, lead vocalist Luke Spiller says: "This song is mainly about the relationship between a performer and his/her audience. After touring throughout the United States, we've developed a strong relationship with our audience and started to feel more responsibility to them—mainly to give a great show every night.

"The song has many theatrical moments, making the arrangement one of the most ambitious songs we've done. It's definitely over the top and larger than life, but after experiencing our audience and how they react to our music, I think it's even more fitting."

It's an incredible accomplishment when a rock band has been successful enough to reach the 25-year mark since the release of their first album - and this year, raunchy southern rockers Jackyl have accomplished this feat, celebrating with an appropriately-titled compilation, '25,' which drops July 28 via Mighty Loud Records.

The 18 track set is available for pre-order via the band's website. It contains their radio hits as well as two previously unreleased tracks - a live rendition of 'Redneck Punk', and a cover of Black Oak Arkansas' 'Hot and Nasty'.

"With this compilation, we are celebrating 25 years of Jackyl rock'n'roll - the fundamentals of rock'n'roll," adds Jesse. "And beware - we are not slowing down anytime soon."

Little Hurricane, the San Diego duo of front man Anthony "Tone" Catalano and drummer Celeste "C.C." Spina proudly present the wonderful new video for their latest 'Isn't It Great', taken from their third full-length studio album 'Same Sun Same Moon', out now on Mascot Records.

Speaking about the new video, drummer C.C. says "'Isn't it Great' is a song that lyrically captures the awareness of the final moments in someone's life, and making the choice to enjoy those moments instead of fearing them.

"The video is an upbeat interpretation of a girl ending a bad date, and a fantasy playing out in her head as she walks back to her car. Instead of dwelling on the bad night she just had, she envisions a chance encounter on a rooftop where she experiences everything her life is missing without ever having to say a word."

Blues prodigy Jonny Lang's brand new studio album, Signs, will be released in UK/EU on Provogue/Mascot Label Group on August 25th and North America on September 8th via Concord Records. The album is his first in four years.

The first track from the album, 'Bitter End' has been revealed. "Bitter End is about humanity continuing to repeat the same mistakes over and over – are we just going to keep doing that until we are all gone?" Lang shared.

"Or, are we going to learn from them, and allow for it to be a lesson that lasts, which we can do something with, and turn the past errors it in to a positive before we end up in a place where we can't come back from."

Bigfoot are a hard rock band from Wigan who burst onto the scene in the spring of 2014. With a wide range of influences from The Eagles through to Pantera, the group boasts the powerful vocals of Antony Ellis, dual lead guitars from Sam Millar and Mick McCullagh, plus the thunderous rhythm section of bassist Matt Avery and drummer Tom Aspinall.

The self-titled debut album by Bigfoot is out on 13th October via Frontiers, and the first track. 'The Fear' has been released as a taster of many more good things to come.

Sam Millar describes it as "a song about the fear in our heads and how it can consume your whole life and take over", while musically Mick McCullagh states that "it is a Jekyll and Hyde type affair. There's the gnarly, in your face heavy rock guitar side of it, then the melodic, anthemic side with big uplifting vocals. It's very dynamic, which adds to the tension we were aiming for."
