DESECRATION

Formed in 1993 and after just one demo, 'Mangled Remains', Desecration recorded their debut album 'Gore & Perversion' (1995), which was banned upon release. The artwork and lyrics led the band to their arrest under the Obscene Publications Act. A one year court case was eventually dropped but they were warned to 'tone down' in the future. A Norwegian record label later released this album with a censored cover.

LUNATIC HOOKER

UK purveyors of HM-2 powered Death/Grind meets southern-fried sludge.

DECREPIT MONOLITH

As well as creating dark and brutal Black Metal with influences from Death and other genres, the band's other core objective was to deliver a full live experience. Over the next few months the set evolved to enhance the custom leather body armour with large wooden crucifixes adorned with chains, back drop and stage panels adorned with a split ram's head. Blood is now used on all performances and full lighting rig is being built to further enhance the experience of a Decrepit Monolith show.

INFECTED DEAD

Infected Dead are a ferocious modern Death Metal five-piece from the rotten shores of the River Medway in Kent. They were Kents Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses winners in 2017.

MAGOGMAGORE

Slam Death Metal.

DJs:

DJ 69 (Retribution Alive/Bloodstock's Club Serpent/Intrepid Fox/Unholy/Synthetic Culture/Bloodstock's In New Blood We Trust)

DJ DIN LOUD (Metal Days/Horn's Up/London Metal 2 The Masses)

SATURDAY 18th - Heaven & Hell
6.30pm-Midnight

SACRILEGE

In the 80s Sacrilege played many venues such as the old Marquee in Wardour Street, London and also played on the David Jensen show with U2 and the Stranglers. From the TV appearance followed a UK tour of smaller venues finishing with that Marquee gig. The band always had a stage show no matter whether it was a pub, club or festival. Fans might remember the real Long dry grass they had all around the stage, the cobwebs over the drum kit, the explosions, dry ice and 4x12 cabinets with crosses and smoke pouring out of them (not the norm for a small Pub Gig!!).

NEVERWORLD

Combining a multitude of sounds and influences, their sound is powerful yet melodic, dark yet joyous but always delivered in their own unique way. They have always been a completely independent band, which allows for full creative control, and a no compromise stance to their musical vision of creating something fresh in a well established genre.

KAINE

Kaine is a leading force in the British Metal Revival formed in 2009 by Rage Sadler (rhythm guitars and vocals). The band is a NWOBHM inspired four piece. They have played over 200 shows and has supported some of the best known acts past and present such as NWOBHM legends Praying Mantis, Dennis Stratton (Iron Maiden), Deep Machine and American Thrash legends Mordred as well as current acts such as Savage Messiah, Absolva (ex-Fury UK) and ZP Theart's I-AM-I (ex-Dragonforce).

STUKA SQUADRON (comeback campaign)

The Heavy Metal Vampire War Machine has awoken! Fangs sharpened! Missions planned! Creations forged! Prepare Loyal Legionnaires, STUKA SQUADRON are back!!!

ALASTRIA

Symphonic Power Metal from Canterbury. Bloodstock Kent Metal 2 The Masses finalists 2017.

MONSTERS OF ROCK IN FULL FLIGHT SURE TO BECOME FUTURE COLLECTOR'S ITEM

monsters of rock

Monsters Of Rock In Full Flight is strictly limited to 300 worldwide and is available from 30th November but those ordering before 31st October will have their name published within a dedicated page in the book.

It's a deluxe 128 page hardback book in a metal flight case with a narrative by Jerry Bloom.

When promoter Paul Loasby put on the first Monsters Of Rock Festival in 1980 he could probably never have imagined it would become an annual event that would endure for so many years.

Featuring bands from the UK, Germany, Canada and USA, Loasby chose to stage the event at the Donington race circuit in the middle of England and it would prove to be a defining moment for many of the bands on the bill.

Not least for headliners Rainbow as it was the their last ever show to feature drum legend Cozy Powell. As it would happen it turned out to be the last for vocalist Graham Bonnet as well. For many of the other bands on the bill such as Scorpions, Judas Priest and Saxon, they were all on the ascendancy and would soon go on to even greater success.

Now in celebration of this first ever Monsters Of Rock Festival comes this hardback book full of glorious photos of the bands that took to the stage for that inaugural event including back stage shots. Most of these shots have not been published before which add to the uniqueness of this deluxe 128-page book which is packaged in its own flight case.

Also included are stories surrounding the event with tales and recollections from those who were there, including artists and fans alike. Each book will be signed by the author. The 300 will sell fast and definitely go on to become collector's items so order yours now right here to avoid disappointment.
