Labyrinthus Stellarum have consistently captured the hearts of Heavy Metal aficionados with their unique blend of atmospheric and traditional Black Metal elements. Lost In The Void is no exception, promising an intricate journey through sound that resonates deeply with the band’s ethereal and introspective style.
The new single is the second release from their upcoming album Rift In Reality, set for early 2025. The first, Ravenous Planet, was released last month, which has been recognised as one of their most progressive and complex songs to date.
Ravenous Planet tells the story of a space expedition in search of a new habitable planet. But the planet the expedition arrives on, hoping to become their new home, turns out to be a trap inhabited by a swarm of creatures with a collective mind. The heroes of the song fight the creatures, realising that they are doomed.
Labyrinthus Stellarum are a Cosmic Black Metal band from Odesa, founded in 2021 by vocalist and songwriter Oleksandr Andronati and guitarist Oleksandr Kostetskyi. Later, they were joined by a second guitarist, Oleksandr Andronati’s brother, Misha.

Shortly after the album’s release, Oleksandr Kostetskyi left the band, and since then, Labyrinthus Stellarum has continued as a duo of the two brothers.
Their second album, Vortex Of The Worlds, was released on 6 April 2024, solidifying Labyrinthus Stellarum’s place in the cosmic Black Metal scene alongside bands like Darkspace, Mesarthim, and Vorga.
Despite their short existence, the band has performed with iconic Ukrainian Black Metal acts such as White Ward and Colotyphus.
Labyrinthus Stellarum promise new album, Rift In Reality, will be even more experimental and diverse than before and will include both epic melodic tracks and heavy and aggressive ones. The album will also feature more clean vocals than previous releases.
The album cover was designed by Mark Cooper, who is known for his work with bands such as Rings Of Saturn and Brand Of Sacrifice.
